Baltic Raw Org erstellt eine mobile und partizipative, skulpturale Plattform aus Pappkarton nutzbar von Besucher*innen als ein Musikinstrument. Es ist eine Intervention im öffentlichen Raum und eigenständige Mittlerin von Kultur im direkten Austausch auf der Straße.

VAGAR ist eine strukturnutzende, situative Überschreitung mittels mobiler Architektur. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Durchdringung und zeitweisen Umkehr oder Blockierung einer vorgefundenen Situation (Improvisation). Sozialer Kontext und Praxen im Umfeld werden ausgelotet und zu neuen Kombinationen und Relationen geführt.

Werkstoff: Die mobile Plattform aus Karton abgekauft von der zentralen Sammelstelle der Cartoneros* im Viertel Baraccas. Karton wird als reines Abfallprodukt wahrgenommen. Als gereinigter Werkstoff, zur Skulptur umgestaltet, erfährt dieser eine Umwertung (Upcycling) und kann als Impuls für weiteren kreativen Umgang mit dem Material werden, möglicherweise neue mikroökonomische Entwicklungen in Gang setzen.

Drei Musiker und Komponisten – Ole Wulfers, Carsten „Erobique“ Meyer und Paul Speckmann, initiieren und begleiten die Sessions, welche sowohl durch vernetzte Arbeit und Recherche als auch durch spontane Beziehungen vor Ort generiert werden. Impvisiertes Konzert mit Musikern aus BSAS: Rosario Blefari, Tobe, Jorge Crowe.

* „Cartoneros“ sind Bewohner_innen meist aus Favelasiedlungen (Villa Miseria), die ihren Lebensunterhalt mit dem Sortieren und dem Verkauf von Altpapier verdienen.

The starting point for the mobile, sculptural and participatory platform is, on the one hand, the function as the central connecting element and information point of the video festival „Die Informale“ at the same time she acts as an independent mediator of art and music.

VAGAR is an intervention in public space, using the structur to situational crossing, based on mobile architecture. Cardboard, transformed from waste product to material for a sculpture, is being upgraded. This can serve as an impetus for a different way of dealing with the material, possibly accelerating new microeconomic developments.

Three musicians and composers – Ole Wulfers, Carsten „Erobique“ Meyer and Paul Speckmann – initiate and accompany the sessions, which result through networking, research or generated by happened by chance local relationships (Musicians BSAS: Rosario Blefari, Tobe, Jorge Crowe).
