Das Kunstfestival Subvision stellte Initiativen in den Mittelpunkt, die jenseits traditioneller Formen des Kunstbetriebs neue Ausstellungs- und Vermittlungsformate erproben. Es trafen Künstlerinitiativen aus der ganzen Welt aufeinander, welche außerhalb etablierter Institutionen und kommerzieller Strukturen neue Strategien für die Präsentation und Distribution von Kunst entwickelt hatten. Auf Einladung der Kuratorin Brigitte Kölle und des künstlerischen Leiters Martin Köttering kamen über 30 Künstlergruppen, freie Projekträume und Off-Spaces aus mehr als 20 Ländern in Hamburg zusammen und schufen ein spannungsreiches und vielfältiges Präsentationsforum mit Ausstellungen, Künstlergesprächen, Performances, Konzerten, Lesungen und Videoscreenings.
The art festival Subvision focused on initiatives that are trying out new forms of exhibition and mediation beyond traditional forms of the art world. Artists‘ initiatives from around the world met each other, who had developed new strategies for the presentation and distribution of art outside established institutions and commercial structures. At the invitation of the curator Brigitte Kölle and the artistic director Martin Köttering, over 30 artist groups, free project spaces and off-spaces from more than 20 countries gathered in Hamburg and created an exciting and diverse presentation forum with exhibitions, artist talks, performances, concerts, readings and video screenings.

BRO „Hafen City bleibt“
In einer zunächst viralen Aktion wird (in Anlehnung an den aus der Hausbesetzer-Szene der Hafenstraße bekannten Slogan) ironisch für den Verbleib eines städtischen Großprojektes, der Hafen City, geworben.
Diese Strategie wird mit der Besetzung und Beflaggung einer Landzunge im besagten Stadtteil fortgesetzt.
In an initially viral action is (in line with the familiar from the squatter scene in Hamburg Hafenstrasse slogan) advertised ironically for the whereabouts of a major urban project, the HafenCity.
This strategy is continued with the occupation and flagging of a promontory in the said district.
